Major Release (Spitfire) Updates

Universal SSL
We have now implemented universal SSL. You no longer have to purchase SSL certificates for your site. Our Universal SSL technique eliminates this need while still securing traffic with the strongest possible encryption.

Capacity Increase Successful.
We have successfully increased our server cluster capacity to double throughput.

Dynamic lightbox is now available through template snippets.
You can now access the lightbox image zooming scripts through template snippets.

Amazon S3 storage
All site images will be migrated to Amazon S3 during the week beginning Monday April 27.

Standardised image resizing.
All product images are now resized to the standardised grid system. Uploaded product images are available in single column increments up to six columns with a 12 column version available.

Archiving previous versions.
We have moved our existing code infrastructure to the archives. If your site requires new functionality, we will port your application to our new platform which is performing well. Email info@firestorm.com.au with your new feature requests.

System re-write
We have a big goal in mind and to achieve it, we have come to the realisation that we need to rebuild. This rebuild will mean the archival of our existing system and re-writing to new architectural specifications. This means using new programming languages running on new operating platforms and servers. It's a big job, but boy, we are loving it!
